Janneke is a designer & process thinker driven to create buildings that solve our housing’s role in climate change. She has deep working knowledge of green building & energy conservation, specializing in environmental sustainability as it relates to architecture. Educated at the University of MN in Architecture & Sustainability Studies, her professional background includes experience with LEED, GreenStar & Passive House certification programs. This will set the stage for the Basset Creek Cohousing Group to share our vision of building our urban cohousing homes to the Passive House standard, and creating a custom neighborhood of clustered homes and common facilities.
